NORTHERN MUDLARKS

Hermia - A one of a kind Sterling silver doll head pendant. Cast from a disembodied doll head found on our mudlarking adventures. Although we’ve found hundreds of doll heads over the years, however, only a select few are chosen used to cast into jewellery. This is one of my favourites! I believe it to be from a 19th century penny doll, cheep German made dolls sold across Britain during the mid 19th to early 20th centuries. Helena is full of character, her face is partially indented, marks made by her creator while the clay of the original doll was still soft.

The pendant can be slipped onto a suitable small chain or clipped onto a charm holder.

A one of a kind recycled Sterling silver arrow pieced heart pendant. Cast from an original copper alloy metal detecting find, found in the UK by a metal detectorist, it was likely once a belt mount. The pendant can be slipped onto a suitable small chain or clipped onto a charm holder.

A one of a kind double sided recycled Sterling silver poppy head and Stinging Nettle leaf clip-on pendant. Made from the impressions of a poppy seed head and a tiny stinging nettle leaf both from our garden.

A one of a kind recycled Sterling silver charm with garnet. Made with the impressions of a 19th century seal from Alex’s beloved collection and the impression of a medieval long cross penny with the words “ENOUGH” stamped around it, on the reverse features a seal impression of Britannia set with a blood red garnet.
